Where The Wild Things Are

At the USO in Kuwait, Sid had a chance to make a video of him reading to the children. He chose his favorite book as a child, Where The Wild Things Are. He was taped sitting in a chair in a library like setting while reading the book (and wearing his side-arm which kept getting stuck on the armrest of the chair). The DVD of him reading was put in a pocket inside the book and then mailed to the children. It's really neat!

The above picture is of Emily reading along in the book while listening to Sid. Keith kept saying "That's Daddy!" and pointing at the TV, illustrated in the picture below.


I took Emily to see Where The Wild Things Are at the movie theater. We really enjoyed it and I cried at the end when Max left the island. Emily just rolled her eyes at me and said "Daddy said you were emotional." She is her father made over.
